Dr. Sylvestre Manga, DEA (Université Cheikh Anta DIOP, Senegal), Ph.D. (Quebec), LL.M. (UQAM), Graduate Certificate (McGill), is a legal research fellow at the CISDL. His DEA focused on Geosystemical Modeling in hydro-agricultural Planning and Agrobiodiversity (Université Cheikh Anta DIOP, Senegal). His first Ph.D. focused on Mathematical Modeling and Simulation in hydro-agricultural Planning and International Development from Université Laval (Quebec City), and his Post-doctoral work on Remote sensing in agriculture and environment, at the Université de Sherbrooke. Mr. Manga also holds an LL.M. in Agricultural Biodiversity and Biosafety Law and International Trade from Université du Québec à Montréal, and a Graduate Certificate in Agricultural Biosafety Law and Resolution of International Trade Disputes from McGill University ICL. He is currently a candidate for an LL.D./Doctorat en droit in Agricultural Medical Biosafety Law and International Trade from Université Paris 1 Panthéon Sorbonne (Paris, France) and the Université de Montréal (Montreal, Canada). He holds several years of experience in Technology transfer and Capacity-Building in Natural Resources Management and International Development as a consultant with the private sector and for governments and as an academic research specialist with several research centers in universities.
