Nathasha McQuaid
Communications Officer

Natasha McQuaid is the Communications Officer for the CISDL. She has a BA from McGill University’s School of Environment, where she completed an inter-disciplinary program focusing on sustainable development. During this period, she spent one semester abroad with the McGill Neo-Tropical Field Study Semester in Panama. In Panama she completed an internship with a local NGO, Madres Maestras, examining waste management issues, health and environmental impacts, and social policy. Upon graduation, she worked as a research assistant, conducting hydrological and soil science research for the McGill Geography Department on a National Climate Change project called “Fluxnet.” She has traveled and worked in New Zealand and Fiji, and most recently, has worked as a language instructor in Paris, France, for corporate Parisian clients. While in Europe, she was a member of the National French Women's Ultimate Frisbee Team. Ms. McQuaid speaks English, French and basic Spanish, and enjoys practicing yoga in her spare time.
