Lesley Suss is the Publications Officer for the CISDL. She is completing her BA at McGill University focusing on International Development Studies and Hispanic Studies. During her time at McGill, she spent two semesters abroad studying in Universidad de La Rioja in Spain. She also volunteered as a teacher and program organizer for a summer at Colibri, in Cusco, Peru, an organization that provides refuge, food and education for street children. Last summer, she interned with Fundación IDEAS in Córdoba, Argentina, an organization that provides human, material, and technological resources for sustainable social development, with particular regard for education and youth-based projects. She is involved in awareness campaigns for Canadian youths on development issues as a teacher of a Human Rights Genocide and Ethnic Cleansing Program for grade ten students at a Community center. She intends to pursue a law degree focusing on international human rights and sustainable development. Ms. Suss speaks English, French, Spanish and basic Hebrew, and enjoys swimming and travel.
