Mr. Osman Aboubakr, B.Com (Toronto), BCL, LL.B. (McGill), is a legal research fellow at the CISDL. Born in Cairo, Egypt during the mid 1970's, Osman Aboubakr is a citizen of both Egypt and Canada. Mr. Aboubakr graduated with Honours from University of Toronto with Majors in Commerce and Environmental Studies, and will graduate from McGill University Faculty of Law in 2002 with degrees in both Common Law and Civil Law, specializing in International Commercial and Trade Law. His work and volunteer experiences include export representative at an international export firm, summer traineeship in a foreign bank's letter of credit department, park ranger at National Parks of Egypt and summer internship at the UN Environment Programme's Economics and Trade Unit. He works at the Canadian law firm of Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP, primarily in the field of corporate/commercial law. He is fluent in English, Arabic and French.
