Professor François Crépeau is a professor of international law at the Faculty of law of the Université de Montréal. He holds diplomas from Bordeaux 1 (DEUG en droit, Licence en droit et maîtrise en droit privé), McGill (BCL et LLB), Paris I (DEA en droit des affaires, Doctorat en droit) et Paris II (DEA de sociologie juridique). He is currently the executive directors of the CÉRIUM and is the holder of a Canada Research Chair in International Migration Law. His research interests include refugee law, international human rights law, international migration law and the links between international law and globalization. Prof. Crépeau is also vice-president of the Canadian Human Righst Foundation, member of the Canadian Commission for UNESCO, and is counsel of Lette, Lette & Partners.
