Julie Dubé-Gagnon

Julie Dubé-Gagnon, LL.B. Candidate (UQAM), BA International Development Studies (McGill), is the new Project Manager with the CISDL for the ArticNet Climate Law Project, and the Americas Eco-Health Assessment Law Project.
Julie has completed a summer clerkship under Judges Robert Fremr and President Dennis Byron at the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda in Arusha, Tanzania. She serves as the responsible for external evaluations of the Quebec International Law Review and is a board member for OEIL Côte-des-Neiges, a housing rights advocacy community organisation based in Montreal. Prior to her legal studies at UQAM, she completed a CIDA Young Professional research internship with Acadia University in Guatemala, at the Presidential Human Rights Commission (COPREDEH).
Julie is presently completing a law degree at the Université du Québec à Montréal, and holds a bachelor’s degree in International Development Studies from McGill University where she has undertaken an academic exchange at the University of Pune, India. She is primarily interested in the management of multiculturalism, ethnic conflicts, post-conflict reconstruction and transitional justice. Julie speaks French, English, Spanish and Portuguese fluently, and her interests include snowboarding, rollerblading, travelling, and viewing foreign films.
