Mr. Martin Endicott, LL.B (Lond), BCL (Oxon), Dip. Com. Int. Arb. (Lond) is a Research Fellow with the CISDL.  He was called to the bar of England and Wales, and won the Gray's Inn Mould Senior Scholarship, in 1999.  He served as a Judicial Assistant to the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, Lord Woolf, and until 2003, specialized in resolving international disputes at a major international law firm. He also has experience of work at the British High Commission New Zealand, the UK House of Commons and the UN International Criminal tribunal for Rwanda.  In 2004, he was a Centre for Studies Scholar at the Hague Academy of International Law and International Relations. His research interests focus on the settlement of trade and foreign investment disputes, and include the question of what kinds of projects qualify for investment protection, the requirements for a consistent application of investment law principles and the linkages between investment law instruments and development objectives.
