Arezou Farivar, BCL/LLB Candidate (McGill), BA International Relations (UBC).  Prior to joining the CISDL, Ms. Farivar was on the organizing committee for the Global Conference on the Prevention of Genocide at the Centre for Human Rights and Legal Pluralism. She has also worked as a Research Assistant at the Vancouver-based Human Security Report Project, at the Center for Human Security. She is primarily interested in the nexus between human rights and development with a focus on post-conflict reconstruction. Ms. Farivar speaks Farsi and English as well as basic Spanish and French. Her interests including learning about various cultures, trying to solve issues plaguing the world, travelling and theatre.
