Barbora Farkasova, candidate for Master’s in Development Studies (University of Cambridge), BA in International Relations (UBC). Previously, Barbora worked at the Human Security Report Project in Vancouver, where she co-published daily and weekly human security news. She has been actively involved in numerous volunteer projects both locally and abroad. Most recently she spent two months volunteering with underprivileged children in Davao, Philippines. Her research interests include the links between poverty, conflict and sustainable development. She speaks Slovak, English and German and enjoys skiing, rowing and travelling the world.
