McMullen

David McMullen (Canada)
Mr. David McMullen is pedagogical expert on teaching the natural sciences to secondary students. For the past 10 years he has shared his innovative approach to learning with various Inuit communities in Nunavik, working with the Kativik School Board. Mr. McMullen also has also taught, for many years, outdoor education and native skills. He is interested in how the natural sciences are taught in various parts of the world and specifically the role culture plays in the teaching of natural sciences to Indigenous students. He is also interested in issues relating to biodiversity protection, traditional agriculture, forestry and traditional uses of plants. He is fluent in English and French and has notions of Inuktitut.
