Ms. Isabel Lopez Noriega, LL.B. (Complutense de Madrid), M.E.S (Cadiz), is an associate fellow with the CISDL. She is a PhD Candidate on International Environmental Law, works in the UNESCO Chair for the Environment at the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos (Madrid) where she carries out researching, teaching and consulting activities. She has served as a consultant to the Spanish Ministry of Environment and the Spanish Patent Office on technology transfer issues under the Convention on Biological Diversity. She has published various legal papers on Sustainable Agriculture and Rural Development, Human Rights and the Environment, Water Management and Air Pollution. She currently conducts research on technology transfer under the CBD and the FAO International Treaty on Plant Genetic Resources.
