Ms. Tina Parbhakar, LL.B./M.P.A. (University of Victoria) is an articled student with the government of British Columbia. She has taken classes at Utrecht University's Faculty of Law, Economics & Governance in 2008 and worked on the gender mainstreaming team at Participatory Research in Asia in 2007. She is an active member of Lawyers Rights Watch Canada and the 'We Can' End All Violence Against Women campaign. She is interested in research on the social approaches to climate change, gender-based violence and the environmental, cultural and social issues arising from international trade regimes. She speaks fluent English, Punjabi and Hindi and basic French.
