Mr. Frederic Perron-Welch, LL.B. Candidate (Dalhousie), M.A. (Toronto). Mr. Perron-Welch is in his 3rd year at Dalhousie Law School pursuing a certificate of specialization in Environmental Law. He is interning at the Biosafety Division of the Secretariat for the Convention on Biological Diversity, coordinating the publication of a CISDL book on the Cartagena Protocol on Biosafety, and developing a study on Access and Benefit Sharing and Forest Law. Prior his time at the CISDL, he worked for the East Coast Environmental Law Association, studied at the University of Victoria Environmental Law Clinic, and volunteered with the Canada Parks and Wilderness Society and Citizens Against Strip Mining. Mr. Perron-Welch speaks French, English and a modest amount of Spanish.
