Lee Rovinescu, BCL/LLB candidate (McGill). Prior to entering law school, he lived in Fiji for a summer working on regional trade and economic development projects focused on facilitated trade between coastal and mountain villages. At Marianopolis College he conducted research on the women’s rights movement in Pakistan which served as part of a series of human rights seminars. Upon joining McGill he took an active role in the Human Rights Working Group. Lee most recently worked at Samsung Electronics in Seoul, Korea with the Intellectual Property Team where he was involved in research for both patent prosecution and defence. His current academic interests are in international trade law, corporate social responsibility, and international commercial arbitration. He speaks English and French and is taking language courses in Japanese. His other interests include fine art, sports and travel.
