Ms. Adela Maciejewski Scheer, B.C.L./LL.B Candidate (McGill), B.Sc. Hons (McGill), M.Sc. (Oxford), is a member of the CISDL Legal Research Group. Ms. Maciejewski Scheer has a broad background in environmental science and policy. After her Bachelor’s in environmental science, Ms.Maciejewski Scheer completed an M.Sc in Environmental Change and Management. Her Masters dissertation explored the role of public participation in climate change policy in the United Kingdom through an examination of the public consultation to the Climate Change Act 2008. Most recently, she worked as a research assistant to lawyers at ClientEarth, a pan-European public-interest environmental law organization. Ms.Maciejewski Scheer is engaged in the CISDL’s climate change related work.
