Tasha Schmidt, BCL/LLB candidate (McGill), HBA in Economics and Political Science (University of Toronto). Prior to joining the CISDL, Ms. Schmidt was a researcher for Dr. Sylvia Ostry and member of the G8 Research Group at the University of Toronto. She also spent a year in China where she taught English, traveled, and interned with the Canada China Business Council. Within the McGill Faculty of Law, Ms. Schmidt is a member of numerous student groups and volunteers with the McGill Legal Information Clinic. Ms. Schmidt speaks French, English, and basic Mandarin. Her interests include current global issues, travel, and swimming.
