Jennifer Wu, BCL/LL.B. candidate (McGill), B.Eng. (McGill). Ms. Wu's studies are focused on international trade law and economic development, in particular concerning intellectual property and the WTO. Jennifer has an interest in Chinese law, completing a summer law programme at the China University of Political Science and Law (Beijing) in 2005 and studying on exchange at the University of Hong Kong’s Faculty of Law in 2007. She has also interned with the United Nations Industrial Development Organization’s regional office in Bangkok, where she worked on environmental and development projects covering Thailand and Myanmar. Prior to studying law Jennifer worked as an engineer in the energy sector in both Canada and the United States. She speaks English, French, and conversational Mandarin.
