Prof. Romesh Weeramantry, LL.B. (Monash), LL.M. (Harvard), is Special Counsel in the International Arbitration and Dispute Resolution practice of Clifford Chance. He specializes in public international law and investment treaty claims. Prof. Weeramantry is a thought leader in investment treaty arbitration, who publishes widely and holds positions as a Global Fellow of the National University of Singapore Centre for International Law, a Senior Fellow of the University of Melbourne Law School, a General Editor of the Asian Dispute Review, and a member of the Editorial Board of the ICSID Review.
