Adv. Abigail Holt, MA Jurisprudence (Oxon), MA Healthcare Ethics and Law (Manchester), MA European Law (KCL), is a Barrister practicing from Garden Court Chambers, London, where she serves as co-convener of the Commercial and Business Ethics team and is a member of the Climate Justice team. She is currently the Leader of the European Circuit of the Bar, a voluntary position promoting collaboration among European lawyers.
In her legal practice, Abigail specializes in claimant personal injury, industrial disease, and healthcare-related cases. She also sits part-time as a judge, deciding cases in human rights, asylum, immigration, and employment law. Her interests include the ethical use of artificial intelligence.
She is a member of the International and UK Associations of Women Judges and actively contributes to a project supporting Afghan women judges and their families who have fled the Taliban. Along with colleagues at Garden Court Chambers, she contributes to Environmental Law Updates published by the Legal Action Group (LAG) and regularly organizes and chairs climate change-related webinars for legal practitioners. She speaks Spanish and French.
