Smriti Pokhrel PhD Cand (Victoria), LLM (Lucknow) has a body of scholarly work span-
ning Indigenous rights, constitutional law, and environmental justice, with notable publica-
tions in peer- reviewed journals. As a dedicated advocate for Indigenous communities, she
co- founded ‘Educating Nepal’, supporting the Majhi Indigenous Community. Recent hon-
ours include the Silver Medal for the Judge CG and Mrs Rosemary Global Fellowship for
International Law on Sustainable Development, and nomination for the prestigious Vanier
Scholarship. Her expertise bridges legal practice, academic research, and community advo-
cacy across South Asia.
