Adv Abikè Yacoubou Chabi-Yo is a member of both the Paris Bar and the Quebec Bar. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Private Law and a Master’s Degree in International and European Economic Relations Law, from the Faculty of Law of the Université de Paris X, Nanterre, France. Presently, she is working with the Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF). She is also affiliated with the Young Bar Association of Montreal (YBAM).

Prior to joining business law firms in Paris and Montreal, Ms. Yacoubou worked with the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).
