Adv Fabiana Piccoli Araújo Santos is a Brazilian lawyer and researcher in International Water Law. She is a member of the University Research Centre on Law, Globalization, and Development (UFRGS). Her latest research focused on the effectiveness of the international legal framework regulating the Guarani Aquifer, in South America. She is also a pro bono legal research assistant for the ILA Committee on the Role of International Law in Sustainable Natural Resources Management for Development. Fabiana is a cofounder of Itacaré Water Caring Project Brazil. She speaks Portuguese, French, Spanish, English, and Japanese.
