Adv. Kanisha Acharya-Patel is an environmental lawyer from Toronto, Ontario with specialised certificates in environmental law and Aboriginal and Indigenous law. She is a current member of the Ontario Bar. Previously, Kanisha served as a legal intern with Ecojustice, Canada’s largest environmental law charity. Her research interests include biodiversity conservation, gender equity, enforcement of international environmental laws and the increased responsibility of global north countries in mitigating climate change.
