Suzyo Namonga Ndovi-Akatama is a Zambian based Lawyer currently working for the largest Telecommunication Company in Zambia as Legal and Regulatory Affairs Director. She has pursued additional training in sustainable business practices and responsible leadership under the auspices of the Swedish Management Institute. She has subsequently also pursued short courses offered by the Democratizing Education for Global Sustainability and Justice. Her interest in sustainability and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) has seen her actively participate in industry initiatives aimed at promoting sustainable business practices. She is also a member of the Law Association of Zambia Climate Change Task Force aimed at addressing issues of climate change and environmental sustainability. She hopes to further support in advancing policy and law reform in climate change, sustainability and the SDGs within Zambia. She speaks English, Bemba, Tonga and Nyanja. She is a qualified Legal Practitioner of 20 years standing at the Zambian bar, a member of the Law Association of Zambia and a member of the Institute of Directors Zambia.
