Adv. Suzyo Namonga Ndovi Akatama, LL.M. (London), LL.B. (Zambia), is a Zambian-based lawyer currently serving as Legal and Regulatory Affairs Director for the largest telecommunications company in Zambia. She has completed additional training in sustainable business practices and responsible leadership under the Swedish Management Institute, as well as short courses offered by Democratizing Education for Global Sustainability and Justice.

Her interest in sustainability and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) has led to active participation in industry initiatives promoting sustainable business practices. She is a member of the Law Association of Zambia’s Climate Change Task Force, focused on advancing legal and policy responses to climate change and environmental sustainability.

A qualified legal practitioner with 20 years of standing at the Zambian Bar, she is also a member of the Law Association of Zambia and the Institute of Directors Zambia. She speaks English, Bemba, Tonga, and Nyanja, and is committed to supporting law and policy reform in climate change, sustainability, and the SDGs in Zambia.
