Mr Christopher Wieczorek is a Researcher at the CISDL. Before starting law school, he held advisory and policy roles with the Government of British Columbia. He has also worked for NGOs in the environmental conservation and energy transition sectors. Chris’ graduate research focused on the opportunities and challenges of Canada’s renewable energy transition. This topic – and more broadly, ensuring that necessary sustainability transitions meet environmental objectives while also being inclusive of communities’ and workers’ needs – continues to matter to him. Chris enjoys playing team sports, reading, and drinking coffee.
