Adv Shinde is a Project Manager at the Environmental Law Centre of the University of Cologne. Her previous role was as a Legal Affairs Fellow at the UNFCCC secretariat in intergovernmental matters, treaty implementation and capacity-building. She has previously acted as litigator and advisor in environmental matters, appearing before the National Green Tribunal in India; and has advised the climate media non-profit, ‘Climate Tracker Inc.’ as Policy Associate. Her research interests include international environmental law, corporate environmental crime, criminal law, climate change law, and carbon taxation. She has also taught comparative and international environmental law at the University of Cologne.
