Ms. Thalsa-Thiziri Mekaouche

Ms. Thalsa-Thiziri Mekaouche, B.A. Cand. (Yale), is a Human Rights Scholar at Yale University, where she focuses on the effects of climate change on human rights. She is a CISDL associate fellow. Thalsa is also interested in how deliberative processes can shape socially just environmental policies. She is currently studying Citizens’ Assemblies in France and the United States, while completing a Research Assistantship with the UN Special Rapporteur on the Right to a Healthy Environment. She is proficient in French, English, Spanish and has some basic understanding of Jordanian Arabic.
