Adv. Vuyelwa Kuuya is an Advocate of the High Court of South Africa. She also previously trained as a Commercial Law Attorney in Cape Town, South Africa. Currently completing her PhD studies in the field of Economic, Social and Cultural Rights, with a niche focus on the rights to water and sanitation, Vuyelwa also holds an LLM degree in Corporate and Commercial Law from University College, London. Vuyelwa has provided regulatory and policy advice to state and non-state actors in the area of anti-corruption, business and human rights, children’s rights, corporate social responsibility and sustainable development. She developed her expertise at the University of Cambridge (Lauterpacht Centre for International Law); University of Oxford (Institute for Ethics, Law and Armed Conflict) and Cornell University (Institute for African Development). Vuyelwa is also a leadership coach and trainer with the John Maxwell team. She is also the founder of WOMZI, a global platform for women in leadership across all sectors.
