Prof. Trudeau has been a member of the Quebec Bar since 1986, Associate Professor at the Faculty of Law of the University of Montreal and Associate Researcher at the Public Law Research Center of the Université de Montréal, Vice-Dean of Undergraduate Studies, Faculty of Law, University of Montreal, 1998-1999, and scientific manager of the Environmental Center of the Center for Studies and International Research of the University of Montreal (CÉRIUM) since 2004. Prof. Hélène Trudeau teaches at the undergraduate and graduate levels in the field of environmental law. She directs the work of several master’s and doctoral students. Teacher. Hélène Trudeau is the recipient of several research grants related to the protection of biodiversity in the context of the introduction of GMOs in the agri-food sector, the application of the precautionary principle in international law and in Canada, the regulation of substances the relationship between environmental protection and international trade. Since 2002, she has led a network of researchers at the Francophone university agency in environmental law, including African, European and Canadian members working on the implementation of the Cartagena Protocol. His most recent publications focus on the integration of the Kyoto Protocol into the Canadian constitutional context, recent developments in the field of GMOs in Canada and internationally, the consideration of environmental law principles in Canada. and the right to a healthy environment.
